Biography

Marie Joseph Lor was born 13 Mar 1727. She was the daughter of Alexandre Lor and Françoise Barillot. She was baptized 15 March 1727 by Pierre La Noue and baptismal ceremonies took place 14 April 1727 at Port Royal. Her godparents were François Amiraut and Marie Savoye, wife of René Blanchard.[1][2]

Marie Joseph married three times, her first marriage was to Claude Bourg, son of Abraham Bourg and Marie Dugast 22 January 1748 at Port Royal. Witnesses were Honoré Bourg, Charles Bourg, Pierre Lore and Charles Lore.[3]

She married second, about 1760 Joseph Doiron, son of Paul Doiron and Marguerite Doucet.

Her third marriage was to Pierre Joseph Vincent (no parents given) about 1775.

Marie Joseph Laure, spouse of Pierre Joseph Vincent passed away 24 March 1788, aged about 59 years and was buried the same day at Mole-St-Nicolas, Saint Domingue, Haiti.[4]
