Biography

John Lord b. 1830 is known only as "Milly Lord's son" in historical records, and descendant of William Lord, the Rev. War veteran with a marker in Wilkinson Co showing death date of 1825. His father may have been an unknown Lord cousin who died or was out of the picture before his supposed mother married Mr. Kingery in 1840. If his father was a first cousin of Milly Lord, daughter of Samuel Lord (preferred option), he might have been a son of John Lord(b. 1781) or William Lord (b. 1784). Stephen and Thomas, born in the 1790's, seen to be too young to be his grandfather.

His father may not have even been a Lord, if there was no marriage. Exhaustive research has turned up nothing; John Lord's father remains a mystery.
