2. Martha Lord, born 10 December 1739; married, 22 April 1762, Nahum Marshall of Somersworth, N.H. He removed to Berwick Maine about 1769 and was town clerk from 1770 to 1791. She died 6 September 1774, and he married 2d, 20 December 1780, Mary Tibbetts, and died 31 July 1791. Martha had (besides two who died in infancy):
3. John Lord, born 20 September 1744; married 26 June 1766, Mary, daughter of William and Elizabeth (Walton) Hight, born 18 July 1745. She was sister to the second wife of her uncle Ebenezer (203) Lord. He died 10 December 1768, and his widow married Dr. Ivory Hovey. John had:
6. 204. Mary Lord, who married ____ Grant. As her son Wentworth Steward was born in 1731, she must have been born about 1711, and have been the eldest. She married 1st. Joseph Steward of Well, Me., son of Samuel he died about 1734, and she was appointed to administer 23 July 1734; she married 2d, _____ Grand. "She, "Mary Grant, widow, of Berwick, Me.," 18 December 1766, conveyed ot son Wentworth Stewart all her interest in estate of her father Samuel Lord; witnessed by James Grant, Jr (perhaps named for his father), and Samuel Grant. She had by first husband, two children of whom she was appointed guardian 25 April 1735, viz. :

Wentworth Stewart, born (as by his own entry on the Gorham Me, town records) 10 October 1731 and was "of Berwick, Me.: 23 January 1753 as by deed from James Gilkey; purchased land in Gorham, Me. that year and lived there; was Town Clerk, Selectman, Representative in 1773 and '4; was lieutenant in 1757, in Capt. Joseph Woodman's company of six months' men raised in that vicinity for the French war; was Captain in the army of the Revolution, and died in Sewall's Point, Mass. He married, 4 February 1753, Susanna, daughter of Rev. Solomon Lombard, the first settled minister of Gorham, Me.; she was born 14 August 1734, and married 2d, 4 March 1779, William Wood, of Gorham, Me. Wentworth Stewart had:
