Biography

This name has been written as Lower, Loar, Lohr and finally as LORE . At this point there is no docs of her father's origins although there are many who state Maryland, via PA. Click here for her Find A Grave Memorial [1]

marriage bond recorded June 28 1913 marriage on July 1 by john Burgess We have records of Betsy father as Henry. Hetty LORE born 1807 is listed in the Adam Wall household and is buried near them in the family graveyard, her stone says her last name LORE. We believe she is Elizabeth's sister and Henry, her brother, born 1805 in Montgomery Co. VA by parents Henry & Elizabeth whom we believe are her parents. There is also an Andrew Lore and "wife" had child Sara born 1798 in the German New River settlement, Montgomery Co. Virginia. Some folks have tried to tie her into some TN. Lowers, and some Lohrs from Maryland , I welcome any documentation, and would enjoying adding to her family tree.
