Thomas, son of Thomas and Mary (Southworth) Loring, was born at Duxbury, MA on April 12, 1725.
In 1741, Thomas being above fourteen years old, made the choice of his uncle Joshua Loring of Duxbury to be his guardian.[1]
He married Zilpha Bradford, daughter of Robert and Sarah (Stetson) Bradford, at Kingston, MA on October 1, 1750.
They had three sons, Joshua, Melzar, and Simeon, all born at Duxbury but recorded at Plympton, MA.
Thomas died at Plympton on March 18, 1804 at the age of 78.
