In the 1881 Canadian census she was living on Windsor Road in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
In later years Ada lived in Lowell, Massachusetts.
There is a note in the Whitten family bible that says "James Hamm died July 5, 1910, at his home at 216 Ludlum[?] Street in Lowell. Buried at Edson Cemetary in Lowell." Presumably this was Ada's husband. A clipping about Julietta Maxwell (who is she?) says there is a "family plot" at the Edson Cemetary.
A family tree by bethrandolph1 on Ancestry.com says she was born about 1865 in Nova Scotia. This also says she married James C. Hamm in 1883.
