Biography

Katharine Philippa Lott was born on 21 July 1859 at Bampton in Oxfordshire. She was the daughter of Frederick Lott and his wife Elizabeth, born Elizabeth Barnes. ^{[1] [2] [3]}

In 1861 Katharine Lot [sic] was living at the Vicarage House in Church Lane in Bampton in Oxfordshire with her parents, Frederick and Elizabeth, and their other children. Her age was given as 1, implying a birth date in 1859 or 1860. Her birthplace was given as Bampton, Oxfordshire. ^[3]

Her father died in 1869.

In 1871 Katherine P. Lott was living at 23 Beaumont Street in Oxford with her widowed mother Elizabeth and her brother Reginald. Her age was given as 11, implying a birth date in 1859 or 1860. Her birthplace was given as Bampton, Oxfordshire. She was at school. ^[4]
