Biography

John Madison Lott was born on Apr. 20, 1831, the son of Daniel Lott and Lucinda Peterson Lott. He was the brother of Mark Lott (1815 - 1865), Elizabeth Lott Paulk (1817 - 1885), Mary Ann Lott Pearson (1820 - 1881), Elisha Lott (1822 - 1886), Hester Ann Lott Moore (1824 - 1892), Joel Lott (1826 - 1895), Daniel Lott (1827 - 1913), John Madison Lott (1831 - 1907), Narcissus Lott Meeks (1833 - 1897), Martha Jane Lott Vickers (1835 - 1879), Arthur Lott (1838 - 1903) and the half-brother of Richard Lott (1840 - 1862), Sarah Lott Gaskins (1842 - 1902), Frances Lott Vickers (1848 - 1923), Jesse E Lott (1850 - 1913), Elias Lott (1853 - 1932), David Lott (1855 - 1896) and James Seward Lott (1857 - 1935).

John married Mary Jane Wilcox Lott. They had the following children:
