Mary Jane Lousada was the daughter of John Baruh Lousada and Tryphena Jael Barrow.

She married Capt John Tyssen (1812-) on 21 June 1864 and they had two sons:

1 Hugh Samuel Tyssen (1867-1943)

2 John Graham Tyssen (1871-1952)

She died on 3 December 1921.
