Richard's wife was a Mary (per his will), but nothing in this profile makes any sense. (1) This Mary's birthplace in Aynho is 115 miles from Groton, where Richard died. The geography makes the union unlikely. (2) It appears that husband Richard never left England, and son Richard (Jr) did not arrive in England until the 1630's, most likely in Boston, as he was in Watertown in 1634. The death in Plymouth appears bogus. This profile would certainly never pass muster under the current pre-1700 requirements.
