JANE LOVE Statham 1642-1702

Jane LOVE was born about 1642 in Derbyshire, England, the daughter of Thomas Love 1615-? and his wife, Penelope TURNER 1615-?.

Jane's Father, Thomas and Mother, Penelope Love were the Parents of:

  • 1 - Jane Love 1642-1702
  • 2 - Thomas Love (JR)

Miss Jane LOVE married Mr Hugh Statham 1638-1700 who arrived from England in 1667. The date of their marriage is unknown at this time, but we do know that they were married in Northumberland County, Virginia where they settled.

Hugh and his wife, Jane Statham were the Parents of:

  • (1) Prescilla STATHAM 1664–
  • (2) Mary STATHAM 1664–
  • (3) EDMOND EDWARD Statham 1666–1702
  • (4) Elizabeth Eliz'a STATHAM 1666–
  • (5) Rachel STATHAM 1671–

Jane LOVE Statham died in 1702 according to her Nuncupative Will that was proved on the 17th of March 1702/03. A Non/Nuncupative Will is a will that is given orally to witnesses as opposed to the usual written form of Wills.
