Biography
The family of John Love can be found in the Southern District of Pickens County, Alabama at the time of the 1850 Census. Those in the household included John "C N" Love (46 yrs), Head of Household, occupation, Farmer, born in South Carolina, James D Love (22 yrs), Jane Love (20 yrs), Henry Love (15 yrs), William Love (15 yrs), Jacob Love (12 yrs), Andrew J Love (8 yrs), David Love (6 yrs) and Martha Love (3 yrs).

Andrew Jackson Love was the son of John O'Neil Love and Eliza McDowell Love. Andrew served as a Private in the Alabama Infantry for the CSA.
He came to Texas and died in San Jacinto County 18 January 1867. Andrew is buried in Oakwood Cemetery in San Jacinto County, Texas.
