Biography

Martha was born in 1709. She was the daughter of John Lovelace and Charlotte Clayton.

Martha was Maid of Honour in the court of Caroline, Queen Consort to George II.[1] Martha was a Maid of Honour and her salary was £525 per annum.

Martha died in 1788 and was buried on 5 March 1788 in Stanmore, Middlesex.

Martha was a very dear friend of her cousin Charlotte Clayton (later Regis) and was the executor of her Will.[2]
