Biography

This profile is part of the Chebacco Parish, Massachusetts One Place Study.

Eunice Low was baptized at the Chebacco Parish Church in Ipswich, in the Province of Massachusetts Bay, on 18 Oct 1772. Her parents were Capt. David Low and Abigail Choate.[1]

Eunice married Nathaniel Cogswell on 20 Feb 1794, in Ipswich.[2]

Two unnamed sons of Nathaniel Cogswell (probably children of this Eunice and Nathaniel) were registered in the records of the Chebacco Parish Church of Ipswich, one on 21 Oct 1797, and one on 24 Jan 1800.[3]

No documentation for the date and place of Eunice Low Cogswell's death has yet been located. The date of death provided here, 1832, is therefore an estimate based on the assumption that she might have lived for 60 years.
