James Aaron (1774-1866), son of Samuel Noe and Mary Ann Dennis, adopted the name Lowe but all of their other children retained the family name Noe. His marriage record lists the name "Aaron Lowe."
James is believed to have used the surname Noe on occasion, as noted in the Lowe Family Tree genealogy papers. ~ Jones-39993 19:42, 14 November 2020 (UTC)
