Biography

Romelda Jane Lowe was born about 1841. Romelda is the child JohnLowe-2747 and Mary Ann Albury-313. First-hand information by Phil Roberts, Tuesday, April 29, 2014.

Romelda married about 1863 (have not yet found the record) a USA fellow _?_ Carleton who came to Green Turtle Cay, probably on her father's ship that travelled to the USA ports. He left GTC and made no further contact. Romelda bore a daughter, Lilla Carleton, b 21 Nov 1864. She had a hard life to support her child.

Romelda Lowe Carleton had 3 outside sons for family men at GTC. She named each son for his father: Jimmy Sawyer, Joe Curry, and Thomas Roberts.

Romeda not married to James Bennett Sawyer, Joe Curry or Thomas Roberts.
