Biography

Col. Henry Lowe was baptised July 10, 1652 at Denby, Derbyshire, England[1]

Col Henry Lowe was a planter, merchant and immigrated to Maryland in 1674 where he lived in St Mary's County. He served as a naval officer for Patuxent District. He was also a Justice of Provincial Court, a member of Provincial Assembly, Sheriff, Justice and Clerk of St Mary's County. Henry Lowe died in 1717.[1][2] Col Henry Lowe died in St. Mary's County, Maryland and is buried there.[3]

Lt Col Henry Lowe was a son of John Lowe and Katherine Pilkington Lowe, who was daughter of Sir Anthony Pilkington.[1]All children were baptized at Denby, Derby (England) John Lowe was age 18 c 1634 and died 1659.[1]

Marriage

Henry Lowe was married by 4 Sep 1688 to Susanna Maria Bennett, widow of John Darnall. She died in 1714.[1][4][5][6]
