  • He married Julia Frances Whitehurst, daughter of Robert John and Levincy Whitehurst, 21 March 1866 in Hillsborough County, Florida.
  • Three surviving children:
    • Braxton Bragg Lowe
    • Horace Franklin "Frank" Lowe
    • Mary C. "May" Lowe
  • A seaman. Worked at the Naval Station in 1899 as a general laborer.
  • Died before 1935
