- Alonzo Lowe was born about 1844 -1845 - likely in Key West - to William Alexander "Mack" Lowe and Caroline Elizabeth Saunders Lowe.
- He married Julia Frances Whitehurst, daughter of Robert John and Levincy Whitehurst, 21 March 1866 in Hillsborough County, Florida.
- Three surviving children:
- Braxton Bragg Lowe
- Horace Franklin "Frank" Lowe
- Mary C. "May" Lowe
- A seaman. Worked at the Naval Station in 1899 as a general laborer.
- Died before 1935
