Biography
When Julia Ann Lowe was born on October 31, 1874, in Gordo, Alabama, her father, William, was 23, and her mother, Victorine, was 28. She married James Lemuel Springer in 1894; they had one daughter, Erline. She died on July 25, 1933, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, at the age of 58, and was buried in Elrod, Alabama.
