Biography

John was born in 1803. John moved to the U.S. from Leitrum, Ireland at age 3 years with his parents, John & Nancy Todd Lowe; they lived for a time near Orion, IL where his parents died.

John Lowe married UNKNOWN. They had one child:

  1. Jane Lowe (1827-1882)

John remarried to Isabelle Riley, born Feb 7, 1811. They had a son,

  1. William H. Lowe (served in the Civil War; this family lived in Fulton Co. at one time (a sketch of the life of Wm. Lowe is in a Fulton Co. History).[1]

John passed away in 1877. [2]
