Biography

William was born in 1868. He passed away in 1917 at the age of48 years 7months and 24 days. William was the son of Joseph and Eliza Lower.

For several years William was employed by B & O Rail Road as a Forman of the section crew. In 1912 he moved with his family to Southington, Trumbull County, Ohio and became a farmer.

William and wife Lodema were the parent of four children. They married Nov. 14, 1896.

According to Bill Lower, Willie's grandson by Robert, Move to Southington, OH. He found work as a day laborer and was a big man. He was weaken by an illness, but continued working. Willie was diagonsed wit Appendicits and the Dr. conducted the operation on the kitchen table. After Willie died, his wife Lodema moved back to Hicksville, Defiance, Ohio with two of her children, Robert and Vera. Charles and Hazel remained because of marriages in Southington.
