Biography
John Lowery was one of the founders and owners of Excelsior Flint Glass Company, of Pittsburgh (and later Parnassus, Pennsylvania). The company manufactured lamp chimneys, among other glass items. Mr. Lowery held at least one patent involving the flint glass lamp chimney industry.
