The Masonic Cemetery (1864-1901) was located between Turk, Fulton, Parker and Masonic Streets on what is today the University of San Francisco. The tombstones were used as fill on the approaches to the Golden State Bridge. In June 1901, an unknown number of bodies from the Masonic Cemetery were moved to the Japanese Cemetery in Colma. The rest of the remains from the Masonic Cemetery were moved to Woodlawn Cemetery in Colma.
