Biography
Nancy Maria Lowman was born on May 10, 1835, in Logansport, Indiana. She was the daughter of Samuel Winfield Lowman and Elizabeth Williams. She married William Terrel Fuson on October 20, 1853, in Cass County, Indiana. They were farmers and had nine children during their marriage.
Nancy died on April 24, 1914, in Bondurant, Iowa, having lived a long life of 78 years, and was buried there.

Bondurant, Oct. 22 -- Mr. and Mrs. William T. Fuson, of this place, Tuesday celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of their marriage. Mr. Fuson was born in Champaign County, Ohio, Jan. 7, 1827. Mrs. Fuson, whose maiden name was Nancy M. Lowman, was born in Cass County, Indiana, May 10, 1835, where they were married on Oct. 20, 1853. A year later they came to Iowa, where they have resided ever since, except fourteen years that they lived in Kansas.
