Biography
John Harrison Lowman was born on October 5, 1839, in Cass County, Indiana. He was the son of Samuel Winfield Lowman and Elizabeth Williams. He married Lucinda H. McCollum on January 17, 1861, in Polk County, Iowa. They had eleven children during their marriage. He died on February 23, 1924, in Pleasant, Cass County, Iowa, at the age of 84, and was buried there.
