Anna "Maria" was born 1/11/1855 in California. She was the daughter of William Lowrey and Elvira Hobbs. In 1860 and 1870 Maria was living with her parents and siblings in Bodega Township, Sonoma, California where her father was a farmer. She married James Henry on 5/22/1872 in Sonoma, California. In 1880 Maria and James were living in Salt Point Township, Sonoma, California where James was a hotel keeper. Maria died 3/30/1884 and is buried with family members in the Santa Rosa Rural Cemetery (Plot Rural MC 45).
