Biography

Thomas was born about 1843 to Thomas Lowrie and Magdalen Elder and baptised 18 Aug 1843 in St. Monance. ^[1]

He was enumerated in the 1851 Scotland Census living with his father, Thomas, a 44 year old fisherman and her mother, Magdalen 43. Also living there are her siblings - Ann 18, Elizabeth 15, Chapman 12, Alexander 9, Andrew 5 and Magdalen 2. Thomas was 7. They were all living on Fore St. in St. Monance. ^[2]

Thomas married Elizabeth Davidson 24 Jan 1873 in St. Monance. ^[3]

He passed away in 1910 in Kirkcaldy, Fife. ^[4]
