Margaret (Lowrie) Lees was born on 30 December 1829 in Northumberland, England, daughter of William Lowrie (~1797 - ~1877) and Isabella (Linton) Lowrie (~1799 - 1879)[1].
Margaret married William Lees (1825 - 1906) on 29 June 1850 in Selkirk, Selkirkshire, Scotland[2].
