"Lowry. --The Friends of the late Mr JOHN HAMILTON LOWRY are respectfully Informed that his funeral will leave the residence of his daughter (Mrs. Clarke), 27 Staley-street. Brunswick, THIS DAY (Saturday) at 3.30 o'clock, for the Fawkner Cemetery.[3]
"LOWRY. — On the 15th August, at Austin Hospital, John Hamilton, late Norlh Melbourne, loving husband of Euphemia, and loving father of Nell (Mrs. Miers), Lill (Mrs. Clark), Annie (Mrs. Nettelton), Jane (Mrs. Forsyth, deceased) and John: also grandfather of George, Ernie, Leslie, Ada, Ted, Alma, Myrtle. Baden, aged 79 vears, A patient sufferer at rest. LOWRY.— On the 35th August, at Austin Hospital, John Hamilton, beloved husband of Euphemia Lowry, loving father of Annie (Mrs. Nettleton), Jennie (Mrs. Forsyth, deceased), Hellen (Mrs. Melrs), John Hamilton and Lillian (Mrs. Clarke), son of the late Dr. John Hamilton Lowry, "Springfield," Cralgleburn, loving brother of Arthur Lowry, J. P. (deceased), Harry (deceased), Fanny (Mrs. Bell, deceased), Mary (Mrs. Peckham, deceased), Annie (Mrs. Fox, Coburg), Albert (Malvern), Samuel (Coburg). Minnie (Mrs. Danolll, deceased), Lizzie (Mrs. Aked, Northcote), Frederick (Everton), Lottie (Mrs. Hatty, Moonee Ponds), Adelnltlo (deceased), loved grandfather of George, Ernest, Lea and Alma Clarke, aged 80 years."[4]
