John was born in 1588, and christened on August 13 of that year at Great Orton, Cumberland, England. [1]
He was married to Lucy Grey in Cumberland on June 6 1608. [2]
Their children were:
- John who was born in 1611.
- William who was born in 1614, and christened at Great Orton on December 18 of that year. [3]
- Henry who was born in 1617 and christened on November 17 of that year at Great Orton. [4]
He died in 1620/21 and was buried in Great Orton on March 13 of that year. [5]
