It is believed that Elijah Lloyd and Nancy (Naomi) married either in 1805 or 1806. By 1811, Elijah had land of his own in Morgan County, just over the line from Jasper County. His name appeared on various land transactions: 201 acres on Shoal Creek, 228 acres on Little River, 250 acres in Early County.
Elijah and Nancy Lloyd had only one known child, a son named James, born Apr. 14, 1807, in Troup County, Georgia. It's believed that Nancy died between 1829 and mid-year of 1830, because Elijah married a widow, Sarah Wade, in July, 1830.
