Pablo Lozada Y Medina was born around 1920 in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico to Pascual Lozada Y Diaz and Bruna Medina Y López.[1] His father Pascual started out early in the marriage working in the cane fields to support his family but by 1940 owned his own store.[2][3] On 24 June 1950 Pablo married Martina Torres Y Berrios.[4] They had two children who died in infancy: Aida, at less than 6 months old of gastroenteritis in 19545.[5] And Raúl who in 1957 died 3 days after birth of a brain hemorrhage.[6]
