Emilio Lozada Y Medina was born around 1922 in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico to Pascual Lozada Y Diaz and Bruna Lopez Y Medina.[1] Early on his father Pascual worked in the cane fields to support his family.[2] Pascual eventually became a retailer around 1935 with his sons Angel and Domingo working in the business.[3]
