Biography

Dr. Charles H Lozar was born on 22 Jan 1875 in Canada. He was the son of George Lozar and Rebecca Gills. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]

At the age of 6, Charles appeared in the 1881 Canadian Census with his parents in Ridgetown, Ontario. His father was a hotel keeper. [2]

At the age of 16, Charles appeared in the 1891 Canadian Census with his parents in Maidstone, Ontario. [3]

Charles immigrated to the United States in 1897. [4] [5] [6]

His wife's name was Myrtle. [4] [5] [6]

They had (at least) the following children:

  1. Dorothy, born around 1907 in Michigan [4][5][6]

At the age of 35, Charles appeared in the 1910 US Census with his wife and daughter in Denver, Michigan. [4]

At the age of 45, he appeared in the 1920 US Census with his wife and daughter in Saginaw, Michigan. His widowed mother was living with them. [5]

At the age of 52, Charles appeared in the 1930 US Census with his wife and daughter in Evergreen, Michigan. His daughter had started working as a grade school teacher. [6]

Charles passed away at the age of 57 on 29 Jun 1932 in Sheridan, Montcalm, Michigan, United States and was buried at the Evergreen Township Cemetery in Sheridan. [7] [8]
