Biography

Philomene Lozier (also Lauzier) was born on 26 Jan 1879 in. Fort Kent, Aroostook, Maine; she was the daughter of Robert Lauzier, farmer, and Malvina Mayoff (or McGough). Age 20 Philomene married Alexis Rabin on 3 Jul 1900 in Fort Kent, Aroostook, Maine. There were four children born into this marriage; three of them died young. She died at age 84 on 24 Jun 1963 in Saint-Basile, Madawaska, New Brunswick, Canada; she was buried in Saint Louis Catholic Cemetery in Fort Kent.
