Jacobus Lozier was born 4 Sep 1701 in Hackensack, NJ. A son of Nicholas Nicolaas Losier (Lozier) and Trintie Slot (Sleghte). He was christened 5 Oct 1707 at the Dutch Reformed Church, Hackensack, Bergen, New Jersey. [1]

He married 26 Oct 1733 to Maria Duryea. Son Peter born 10 Dec 1735. Lived at Schraalenburgh, NJ. He was a Deacon of the church 22 May 1755.[2]
