Jacobus Lozier was born 4 Sep 1701 in Hackensack, NJ. A son of Nicholas Nicolaas Losier (Lozier) and Trintie Slot (Sleghte). He was christened 5 Oct 1707 at the Dutch Reformed Church, Hackensack, Bergen, New Jersey. 
He married 26 Oct 1733 to Maria Duryea. Son Peter born 10 Dec 1735. Lived at Schraalenburgh, NJ. He was a Deacon of the church 22 May 1755.
