Biography

When WikiTree first started I uploaded our gedcom, not realising I would not be able to change it, delete it, or replace it. In protest, I made everyone's profile private until I could figure out what I was going to do. I was a dunce, not really researching it, but now I get it :D

After many years of thought, I do believe WikiTree is the way to go to leave our family tree in an open environment for future generations, so I have decided to go through the Gedcom and work on each profile to make sure it is correct before making it public. If there is a profile that you would like to view before I am completed please contact me. Or, if there is a profile that we are connected on and you would like to co-manage please contact me.

Our family website "Lucas & Cummins Heritage" can be found here http://www.aussierhonda.blogspot.com

Hi Rhonda

It's time for a One Name Studies Project check-in!

Could you please advise me which One Name Studies you're still actively coordinating, i.e. maintaining the main study page and associated research pages, and replying to queries/comments from members.

You can respond to this message by posting a reply below or sending me a private message on WikiTree. I look forward to hearing from you!

If I don’t receive your response within the next three weeks, I’ll assume that your interests have changed or you are no longer able to coordinate any One Name Studies, and you'll be removed from the project.

Regards

Jacqueline Baxter, ONS Project Co-Leader

Hi Rhonda,

The Australia Project leadership team are carrying out our annual check-in to see how you are going in the project. We'd really like to thank you for all your work on Australian profiles over the past year! We think we've made great progress in 2020/21 with your assistance.

Please could you reply to this message, to let us know if you would like to stay on in the project and if you are happy with your current role and team involvement. If you would like to do something additional or different, take a look on the Australia Project page to see what other options there are.

It would also be great to get any feedback or suggestions that you have to improve the project.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards

Margaret Haining Membership Coordinator

Hi Rhonda, the ONS Project is reviewing managed project pages, and Melrose-DNA is being removed. Can you please change your ONS sticker from "Melrose-DNA" to just "Melrose"? Thank you!

Why is it being removed? It's a work in progress and currently being updated

Rhonda, the proper naming of Name Studies is "SURNAME Name Study". This has to do with the naming of associated Project pages, sticker usage, etc. You can still achieve all of the same functions through the "Melrose Name Study", including the use of DNA; however, the project page named "Project:Melrose-DNA" is incorrect and needs to be changed. So when using the template, you would only need to use:{{One Name Study|name=Melrose}} to produce:

I believe I met Maria, mid 70s. In Mandarah WA .She was with a child called Goldie . After his nana. Goldie my 1/2 Aunt and her partner at the time Max.

There was also a Jodie( not sure if that's the other adults name or the other child. The memories clear as this was when my father found out his mother was living. So hope so. Excited Tracey Colt

Hi Rhonda, Iam the granddaughter of Clarence Joseph McDermott, the son of Clarence Lewis McDermott and Amy Lillian Glover.

My Father was Denis McDermott. Iam still trying to find Amy's birth record. Did find out she was interned as Amy McDermott and no marriage recorded for Brophy(Miller) Wondering if you might know birth record. I have Tuncurry or glouster NSW . but unable to find her. Any thing you have that might help would be a joy. thanks Tracey Colt nee McDermott
