Biography
Robert Lucas was born April 6, 1806, in Knox county, Tennessee, the son of George Lucas and Phebe (Lacey) Lucas.
Robert became a Justice of the Peace for Gasconade county, Missouri, and is found on many marriage documents of that area.
Robert is found on the United States Census of 1850, living in Canaan, Gasconade county, Missouri, with his wife, Mary, and five children. [1]
Robert is found on the United States Census of 1860, living in Burbois Township, Gasconade county, Missouri, with his wife, Mary and children. [2]
Robert is found on the United States Census of 1870, living in the household of William and Elisabeth Spaulding. In addition to the three small Spaulding children, there are also two young Lacy chlldren in the household. [3]
Robert died October 15, 1876, in Gasconade county, Missouri, and is buried in the Lucas Cemetery, in Redbird, Gasconade county, Missouri [4]
