Died in the Cherokee Nation, Oklahoma
"Mrs. George Luckey Dead." The funeral of George Luckey took place Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the residence of Henry Ballard in the city. D. B. Luckey, a brother of the deceased, arrived from Eureka Springs in time to attend the obsequies. The wife of the deceased passed away Friday morning of pneumonia, and her funeral will occur tomorrow. She has many relatives in Vinita and other parts of the Cherokee Nation, being an aunt of H. C. Ballard and of the Nidiffers, and belonged to one of the oldest families in the Cherokee Nation. [1]
