Biography

Harvey Dimock Ludington was born in 1932, the son of Henry Luddington and Jesse Lelacheur of New Glasgow, Nova Scotia.

He did not marry or have children, although his obituary notes a long-term companion (common-law counts!) and step-children.

He worked for Drummond mines.

Henry died August 29, 2003 and was buried in Lorne Street Cemetery in New Glasgow^[1]. His obituary was published in the Halifax Herald September 2^[2]

He is survived by his companion, Sylvia Graham, New Glasgow; her children, Doreen Graham, Truro; and Gordon Graham, Pictou County; sister in-law, Marion Kay, Trenton; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Joe, Windsor, Charlie and Norman; sister, Catherine. His remains will rest in H.W. Angus Home, New Glasgow, with visiting 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today, where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Pastor Michael Hugh Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Lorne Street Cemetery, New Glasgow. Donations in memory of Harvey may be made to a charity of one's choice.
