Notes

IGI Christening record dated 14 September 1817, the same day as his sister Harriet.
1841 census - age 20 (ages were rounded (up) to nearest 5) - 25 would have agreed with christening date.
Definitely the correct family - there cannot be many Thomas LUDFORDs married to Violetta.
1851 census - age 33 (b. 1817-1818).
1861 census - age 41 (b. 1819-1820).
1871 census - age 50 (b. 1820-1821).
Death certificate - Is this the correct death certificate for Thomas LUDFORD?
Some evidence would say yes, other evidence would say no
Positive facts:
Occupation - Commercial Traveller.
Informant - Lizzie LUDFORD (daughter-in-law).
Place of death - Wynn Street, Birmingham - this is close to both Great Colmore Street and Cregoe Street where Thomas had lived previously.
Negative facts:
The age at death has been altered (officially) from 69 to 66, but Thomas was christened in 1817. If he was christened as an infant, his age at death would have been 62.
