Biography

Johann Conrad was born about 1691 in Spangenberg near Melsungen in Hessen. He was a factor and clerk in Imsbach in 1727, 1730 and 1732 mentioned in Winnweiler. In 1734 he was working in Idar, in 1736, 1741, 1743 and 1745 in Fischbach and in Allenbach. In 1762 he was also involved in the Kautenbach mine.

He married Anna Elisabetha Justina Diez on 22 Oct 1726 in Winnweiler. They had seven children. Of these, some did not survive infancy:

  • Maria Elisabeth Justina (1730 Winnweiler - 1732 Fischbach)
  • Johann Anton (1732 Winnweiler - 1734 Idar)
  • Johann Ludwig (1743 Fischbach - 1745 Fischbach)

He passed away before 1767.
