Biography

Mary was born in 1874. She is the daughter of William Luke and Rebecca Cock. [1]

Mary was just 10 months of age when she emigrated from England to New Zealand, along with her parents and two siblings, as Assisted Immigrants. They travelled on the ship Caroline, departing on 12th October 1875.[1]

She died on the voyage, just before arriving.
