Biography

LaVere Lukens was born on the 3rd of April, 1928 in Pennsylvania. His parents were Frazer LaVere Lukens and Mabel Blanche Gettz.

LaVere at age six.

LaVere married Jacqueline Yvonne Porter on the 25th of November, 1949.

Together they raised three children and saw six grandchildren and five great grandchildren welcomed into the world.[1][2]

One of our favorite Grandpa quotes: "The proper spelling of luck is W-O-R-K."

1928 - Birth of LaVere Lukens.

1940 - Father, Fraizer LaVere Lukens passed away at age 44 years, 6 months and 24 days old.

1949 - Marriage to Jacqueline Yvonne Porter.

1980 - Moved from Portland to Happy Valley, Oregon.
