The Andersonville and Fort McHenry Civil War Prisoner Index, 1861-1865, states that Galen H. Lull, a private in company H of the 152nd New York Infantry, was captured on 22 Jun 1864 at Weldon R.R., Virginia, and was sent to Andersonville Prison where he died.[4]

Galen B Lull, born in 1833, died in 1864 (aged 30–31) and was buried in Saint Andrews Cemetery in New Berlin, Chenango County, New York.[5] There is a very large monument listing at least four of his family members.

The 1890 Census Veterans Schedule states that in Oct 1862 Galon Lull enlisted as a Private in Company H of the 152 New York Infantry. It was noted that he starved in Libbie Prison. His widow, Miranda Lull, was living in West Laurens, Otsego County, New York in 1890. [6]
