Louis Lumière is Notable.

Louis Jean one of two brothers who were among the first filmmakers in history. They patented an improved cinematograph, which in contrast to Thomas Edison's "peepshow" kinetoscope allowed simultaneous viewing by multiple parties.

Louis Jean Lumière, né le 5 octobre 1864 à Besançon (Doubs), est le fils de Claude Antoine Lumière, industriel, et de Jeanne Joséphine Costille. En 1893, il est directeur de la Société Anonyme des plaques et papiers photographiques. Il vit en famille 21 rue Saint-Victor à Lyon[1].

Il épouse Jeanne Rose Léonie Winckler le 2 février 1897 à Lyon (3ème arrondissement)[1].
