Joining the Magna Carta Project as an affiliate is easy.
Thank you for your interest in the Magna Carta Project and Magna Carta genealogy. We are a group of about 100 members with the goal of developing, improving and documenting ancestral trails of the 240 project recognized Gateway Ancestors and their trails to one of more Magna Carta surety barons. We would be pleased to have you join in our efforts.
As a project we have two levels of membership including full membership (membership participation requirements) and affiliate membership. Affiliate membership does not have the time and participation requirements of full membership and is perfect for those members seeking to research their own family connections to Magna Carta ancestry.
For more information please review the following and then let me know which level you chose to join at.

I just wanted to check in with you to see how things are going. If you have any questions about WikiTree please feel free to contact me. Michelle~WikiTree Mentor
Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or special event. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.
Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week now so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions?
We want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

PS Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.
Thanks for volunteering! You are now a full member of the WikiTree community, and can start adding your family. Let me know if you have any questions.
Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a guided tour for new members at New Member How-To. Feel free to work through the How-Tos at your own pace.
Once you add profiles to WikiTree they become searchable and in my experience persons interested in these profiles will contact you and may provide further information to expand your family tree.
Great to have you on board, enjoy, and good luck growing your branches.
Ludwig :)
