Biography

John William was born in Mexborough, Yorkshire in 1865 and and was baptised there with his brother George in 1865. [1][2] He was the son of William Lund and Ann Howorth.

in 1881 he appears as a saddlers apprentice living at high Street, Mexborough with William S Pettitt, master saddler, who employs 2 men and 3 boys
