Julia's first husband, Adolph Nelson, died 22 Oct 1923. The 1930 United States Federal Census (see below) lists Julia Engin (It is supposed to be Engen), age 36, married, and living with Edwin Engin, age 28, Jerome Engin, age 11 and Marvil Engin, age 8. It states that she was age 24 at her first marriage.

I could not find a record of a marriage between Edwin Engen and Julia (Lund) Nelson and use an estimated date of 1924. Julia's children, Jerome and Marvel, were using the last name of Engen in the 1930 census, but Nelson in the 1940 census.
