To get a profile already on WikiTree into your family tree you need to link it to a profile in your tree. For example, suppose you find a parent of one of your grandparents. You will need to link your grandparent as a child of that parent profile. Normally if the profile has Open privacy there is no difficulty. If it has one of the private settings you will need to request to be added to the Trusted List.
